La cadena televisiva de la Suiza de habla francesa (TSR), transmitirá en directo el culto de Pentecostés (http://www.tsr.ch/(www.tsr.ch, hora local: 10 a.m., GMT: 9 a.m.) que este 31 de mayo estará dedicado a celebrar el Jubileo por los 500 años del natalicio del reformador Juan Calvino. La catedral de San Pedro será la sede de dicho acto, al cual asistirán delegaciones de las iglesias reformadas de todo el mundo que han estado reunidas toda la semana en eventos académicos, teológicos y eclesiásticos.

En la liturgia estarán presentes Setri Nyomi, secretario general de la Alianza Reformada Mundial y Thomas Wipf, presidente del Consejo de la Federación de Iglesias Protestantes Suizas (SEK-FEPS). Será dirigida por el pastor Phillipe Reymond, moderador de la Compañía de Pastores y Diáconos de Ginebra, fundada por Calvino.
Predicarán: Liz Vuandi Vibila, de la República del Congo, profesora de teología en Alemania, y Antoine Reymond, presidente de la Conferencia de Iglesias de lengua francesa. La Santa Cena será impartida por el pastor Marcel Manoël, presidente del Consejo Nacional de la Iglesia Reformada Francesa.
Además, se estrenará el himno oficial del Jubileo, “Pueblo del Señor”, a cargo del Ensamble Vocal de Lausana, uno de los mejores coros de Europa, dirigido por Michel Corboz. El himno, compuesto por el profesor estadunidense Greg Scheer, ganó el concurso convocado por el comité internacional de festejos y puede escucharse en el sitio web del comité.
Henri Sulzer es el realizador del programa, bajo la producción de Daniel Wettstein. La grabación del culto puede solicitarse en el sitio de la televisora.
La emisión podrá captarse también en los siguientes países: Alemania , Bélgica (en alemán; en francés), Corea, República Checa, Francia , Holanda, Hungría, Suiza (alemán; italiano) y Estados Unidos (Instituto Calvino, Michigan).
